Advanced ceramic powders

High-Purity & Specialty Oxides

Specialty oxides for optical, electronic, ceramic and research requirements. Define which impurities matter, rather than relying on a purity label alone.

Choose a material

Hafnium, niobium and tantalum oxides

Define the assay basis and the impurities that matter to the process. A 4N or 5N label needs its calculation basis and analytical method.

Tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium oxides

Compare the specified oxide phase, oxygen stoichiometry and particle profile. Keep the complete formula when requesting a candidate.

Other specialty oxides

In2O3, GeO2, Ga2O3 and Bi2O3 are separate identities. Use critical impurity limits to compare analytical records, rather than the headline purity alone.

Material selection guide

Start with the material identity and process, then check the details on the proposed datasheet.

Identity & grade basis

Provide the exact oxide, phase and intended use. Clarify whether the stated assay is on a total-material or trace-metals basis.

Impurity specification

Name the critical contaminants and maximum limits. Request analytical methods and reporting/detection limits suitable for the decision.

Process & evidence

Connect particle size, moisture, phase and packaging to the intended process. Ask which data can be tied to a specific grade or batch.

Before you choose

What does a 4N or 5N purity label leave unresolved?

The analytical basis, excluded components and individual impurity limits still need review. A nominal purity figure is not a complete specification for an optical or electronic process.

What does this directory cover?

Common oxide feedstocks, rare-earth oxides and stabilized zirconia remain separate to keep grade-selection tasks clear.

What to include in your request

A material name or reference datasheet is enough to start. Add any requirements you already know.

  • Exact oxide and phase
  • Purity basis and critical impurities
  • Analytical method and reporting limits
  • Particle profile, moisture and packaging

Quantity, samples and documents

Nike has no fixed minimum order. Tell us the quantity you need; we’ll check supplier pack sizes and any minimums.

We’ll check the proposed grade, sample options, delivery timing and available batch documents. Include any essential COA, TDS or SDS requirements.
