Advanced ceramic powders

Electronic & Functional Ceramics

Dielectric, piezoelectric, conductive-oxide and ferrite powder systems. Start with the device or formulation task, then define the composition and test basis.

Choose a material

Titanate and zirconate systems

Select the exact composition before the dielectric or ceramic target. For MLCC work, use the dedicated page to distinguish base powders from formulated dielectric requests.

Niobate and tantalate systems

LiNbO3, LiTaO3 and potassium sodium niobate (KNN) need separate composition and phase specifications. For KNN, include the potassium/sodium ratio.

Conductive oxide systems

ITO, ATO and AZO identify different doped oxides. Include dopant level, particle requirements and the conditions behind any electrical data.

Ferrite systems

Strontium, barium, Ni-Zn and Mn-Zn ferrites need distinct composition and magnetic test briefs. Compare magnetic data with the specimen and test conditions.

Material selection guide

Start with the material identity and process, then check the details on the proposed datasheet.

Functional system

Separate titanates/zirconates, niobates/tantalates, transparent conducting oxides and ferrites. The functional label does not identify a single grade.

Composition & treatment

Include dopant content, component ratios, phase and surface treatment. BST, KNN, ITO, ATO and AZO are composition families, not one universal fixed formula.

Measurement & process

Relate electrical, dielectric, optical or magnetic targets to sample preparation, frequency, temperature and the intended device process.

Before you choose

Why not use a single fixed formula for every functional powder?

Doped and mixed systems vary by grade. Keep the recognized material name and abbreviation, then confirm the actual composition and reporting basis for the proposed grade.

What does this directory cover?

Finished piezoelectric components, ferrite cores, targets and conductive pastes are not represented as loose powder products.

MLCC Dielectric Powders

Barium titanate (BTO) base powders and formulated dielectrics for multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) development. Source against your composition, particle and process requirements.

What to include in your request

A material name or reference datasheet is enough to start. Add any requirements you already know.

  • Exact system, ratio/dopant and crystal phase
  • Particle profile and surface treatment
  • Target function and test conditions
  • Forming/formulation process and documents

Quantity, samples and documents

Nike has no fixed minimum order. Tell us the quantity you need; we’ll check supplier pack sizes and any minimums.

We’ll check the proposed grade, sample options, delivery timing and available batch documents. Include any essential COA, TDS or SDS requirements.
