Rare-Earth Metal Powders

Elemental rare-earth metal powder inquiries, with exact identity, surface state, handling and destination reviewed for each requirement.

Powder material specimens; appearance reference

Which rare-earth form do you need?

The element name alone does not identify the material. Choose the chemical form first.

Choose a material

Lanthanum through europium metals

Choose elemental metal, then particle and surface-state requirements. Oxides, hydrides and magnetic alloys are separate chemical or feedstock requests.

Gadolinium through lutetium metals

Record the element, assay and oxygen limits, plus any required protective treatment. Compare packaging and material documents for the actual candidate.

Yttrium and scandium metals

Keep Y and Sc metal requests distinct from Y2O3 and Sc2O3. Include intended use and destination so supply and shipment conditions can be checked together.

Material selection guide

Start with the material identity and process, then check the details on the proposed datasheet.

Metal identity

Specify the element and distinguish metal from oxide, alloy or hydride. The chemical form must remain clear throughout the inquiry.

Particle & supplied state

Describe particle size, morphology, oxygen and other impurity limits, and whether a protective treatment or atmosphere is required.

Packaging & supply review

Provide use, quantity and destination. The current SDS, packaging and applicable shipment/trade conditions are checked before confirming a proposal.

Before you choose

How do I distinguish a rare-earth metal, oxide and magnetic alloy?

Use the elemental symbol for metal, the full compound formula for an oxide, and the grade or composition for an alloy. For example, Nd metal, Nd2O3 and an Nd-Fe-B magnetic alloy are separate requests with different particle, handling and document requirements.

What does this directory cover?

This is an inquiry directory, not a guarantee of export eligibility or stock across the listed elements. Rare-earth oxides have their own category.

Rare-Earth Magnetic Alloy Powders

NdFeB and samarium-cobalt (SmCo) alloy powder sourcing. Compare composition, particle profile and the requirements of your magnetic processing route.

What to include in your request

A material name or reference datasheet is enough to start. Add any requirements you already know.

  • Elemental metal identity and assay basis
  • Particle profile and surface/oxygen limits
  • Supplied treatment state and packaging
  • Intended use, quantity and destination

Quantity, samples and documents

Nike has no fixed minimum order. Tell us the quantity you need; we’ll check supplier pack sizes and any minimums.

We’ll check the proposed grade, sample options, delivery timing and available batch documents. Include any essential COA, TDS or SDS requirements.
