Graphite & Anode Materials
Natural and artificial graphite, hard carbon and silicon-containing anode materials. Compare a candidate against your electrode process and test protocol.

Graphite materials
Natural, synthetic and spherical graphite describe different source or particle requirements. Record the coating status and particle distribution alongside the graphite type.

Hard and soft carbon
Choose the carbon system used in your cell design, then compare capacity and efficiency with the same electrode recipe and test conditions.

Silicon-containing and titanate anodes
Si-C composites, silicon monoxide and lithium titanate need their own composition and evaluation brief. A shared anode application does not make their capacity data directly comparable.
Silicon-carbon composite anode powder
silicon-carbon composite anode material powder (Si-C)
Si + C
Silicon monoxide anode powder
silicon monoxide / silicon suboxide anode material powder (SiO / SiOx; grade-specific)
SiOx
Lithium titanate powder
lithium titanate powder (LTO; Li4Ti5O12)
Li4Ti5O12

Material selection guide
Start with the material identity and process, then check the details on the proposed datasheet.
Anode chemistry
Choose the carbon or silicon-containing system first. Natural graphite, artificial graphite and hard carbon should not be compared on carbon purity alone.
Particle & surface profile
Define D10/D50/D90, tap density, surface area, moisture and coating requirements. Connect each value to its test method.
Electrochemical comparison
Ask for the electrode recipe, voltage window, current rate and half-cell or full-cell configuration behind any capacity or efficiency data.
Before you choose
Should I select an anode powder by the highest listed capacity?
Compare data only under compatible test conditions. Material chemistry, coating, electrode loading and formation protocol can change what a reported figure means for your work.
What does this directory cover?
Cathode active powders and solid electrolytes are separate material families. Finished electrodes and slurries need a different supply brief.
What to include in your request
A material name or reference datasheet is enough to start. Add any requirements you already know.
- Anode system and coating status
- Particle distribution, tap density and BET
- Moisture, ash and critical impurities
- Electrode process and test conditions
Quantity, samples and documents
Nike has no fixed minimum order. Tell us the quantity you need; we’ll check supplier pack sizes and any minimums.
We’ll check the proposed grade, sample options, delivery timing and available batch documents. Include any essential COA, TDS or SDS requirements.
